Terms & Privacy
THE SHORT VERSION
I'm a coach, not your doctor. Get cleared by yours before you start, and listen to your body.
You train at your own risk. By using this site or the program, you release Tribe Fitness LLC and me from liability for injuries.
Some links here are affiliate links. If you buy through them, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
The Parent Program bills monthly through TrainHeroic, and you can cancel anytime.
I never sell your information. Your screen answers are used to coach you, and that's it.
This summary is here to help. The full Terms and Privacy Policy below are what actually apply.
PART 1
Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are and accepting these Terms
strongparentcollective.com (the "Site") and The Parent Program (the "Program") are operated by Tribe Fitness LLC, a [Colorado] limited liability company doing business as The Strong Parent Collective ("we," "us," "our"). Sam Moses is the coach behind it.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to everything we offer: the Site, free coaching content, the free movement screen, emails, the Ask Sam form, The Parent Program and any related services (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using any of the Services, or by checking a box or clicking a button that references these Terms, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
2. Not medical advice
Everything we provide (workouts, videos, articles, lessons, the free screen, nutrition guidance, emails and answers to your questions) is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a physician, physical therapist, registered dietitian or other licensed healthcare provider. Sam is a certified strength and conditioning coach, not a doctor or physical therapist. Using the Services does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-patient or other healthcare relationship.
Talk to your physician before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you:
are pregnant, recently gave birth or are breastfeeding;
have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes or any other chronic condition;
have a current or past injury, joint or back pain, or recent surgery;
take medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure or balance; or
have been told by a healthcare provider to limit physical activity.
Postpartum: If you've recently had a baby, get clearance from your healthcare provider before starting or progressing your training. The Program is not a prenatal or postpartum rehabilitation program.
Stop if something feels wrong. Stop exercising immediately and get medical help if you feel chest pain or pressure, dizziness, faintness, unusual shortness of breath, an irregular heartbeat, or sharp or worsening pain. In an emergency, call 911.
3. Assumption of risk
Exercise involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strains and sprains, joint and back injuries, fractures, cardiovascular events, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, injuries from equipment failure or misuse, falls and, in rare cases, permanent disability or death. These risks exist whether you train at home, at a gym, outdoors or anywhere else, and whether or not you follow the Program as written.
You understand that you are training without in-person supervision. No one from Tribe Fitness LLC will observe your form, technique, environment or equipment. You are solely responsible for:
choosing loads, pace and exercises that are appropriate for you;
modifying or skipping any exercise that causes pain or that you don't feel ready for;
inspecting your equipment and making sure it is in good working order and installed correctly (for example, pull-up bars and anchored bands);
training in a safe space, clear of obstacles, and keeping children and pets out of your training area; and
following the rules of any gym or facility you use.
You voluntarily and knowingly assume all risks, known and unknown, of participating in the Services.
4. Release and waiver of liability
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS SECTION WAIVES CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you, on behalf of yourself and your heirs, family members, personal representatives and assigns, release, waive, discharge and agree not to sue Tribe Fitness LLC, The Strong Parent Collective, Sam Moses, and their owners, members, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors and assigns (the "Released Parties") for any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and causes of action of any kind, including personal injury, illness, disability, death and property damage, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or your participation in any exercise, activity or nutrition guidance, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.
This release does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence, willful and wanton misconduct, or anything else that cannot be waived under applicable law.
By using the Services, you confirm that you have read this section, understand it, and agree to it voluntarily.
5. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Services, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, or (d) any content you submit or post.
6. Nutrition guidance
Any nutrition information we share, including guides, calorie or macro targets, meal ideas and supplement mentions, is general education for healthy adults. It is not a meal plan prescribed for a medical condition and is not provided by a registered dietitian. Talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have food allergies, diabetes, kidney disease, a history of disordered eating or any other medical condition, or take medication.
We don't test or guarantee the safety or effectiveness of any supplement. Check with your doctor before taking one.
7. Results and testimonials
Results vary from person to person and depend on many factors, including your starting point, consistency, sleep, nutrition, stress, genetics and health. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including weight loss, strength gains or pain reduction.
Testimonials on the Site come from real clients, most of whom trained with Sam in person. They reflect individual experiences and are not a promise that you'll get the same results.
8. The Parent Program: membership, billing and cancellation
The Parent Program is a monthly subscription delivered through TrainHeroic, a third-party training app. When you join, you'll create a TrainHeroic account and agree to TrainHeroic's own terms and privacy policy. Payments are processed by TrainHeroic and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Price. $20 per month, plus any applicable taxes, billed automatically each month until you cancel. We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice before your next billing date. If you don't cancel, the new price applies.
Cancellation. [CANCELLATION POLICY, e.g. "Cancel anytime from your TrainHeroic account. You keep access through the end of your current billing period and won't be charged again."]
Refunds. [REFUND POLICY, e.g. "Because programming is delivered right away, payments are non-refundable and partial months are not prorated, except where required by law."]
Program changes. Programming is updated monthly. We may change, update or discontinue exercises, formats or features at any time. If we discontinue the Program entirely, we'll stop billing you.
Your account. Your membership is for you only. Don't share your login or redistribute the workouts.
9. Team community rules
The Program includes a team space inside TrainHeroic where members can post, comment and cheer each other on. Be kind. Don't harass, shame, threaten or spam other members; post anything illegal, explicit or hateful; or give other members medical advice. We may remove content, or remove members who break these rules, without a refund. Posts from other members reflect their own views, not ours, and we aren't responsible for them.
10. Free screen, free coaching and Ask Sam
The free movement screen is a general self-assessment questionnaire. It is not a medical, diagnostic or physical therapy evaluation, and any recommendations you receive are general suggestions based on your answers. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.
When you send a question through the Ask Sam form, by email or on social media, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, edit and publish your question and to create content from it. If we answer it publicly, in an article, video, email or members-only library, we'll remove your name and identifying details. Please don't include anything you want kept private, and never use the form for a medical emergency.
11. Affiliate disclosure
Some links on the Site and in our content are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend gear we've used or would use ourselves, but please do your own research before you buy.
Amazon. The Strong Parent Collective is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Other brands. We may also earn commissions, use discount codes or receive free products from other brands we link to or mention. [List current partners, if any]
UltiROLL. [Describe your relationship to UltiROLL, e.g. "UltiROLL is a product I created and sell, so I earn money when you buy one."]
Products are sold and shipped by the retailer, not by us. Prices and availability can change after we post them, and warranties, returns and product safety are the seller's and manufacturer's responsibility. Starting-weight recommendations are general guidelines, not personal prescriptions.
12. Third-party services and links
We use other companies to run the Services, including Squarespace (website), TrainHeroic (Program delivery and billing), Tally (forms), [email provider] (email) and [analytics tools]. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and policies. Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products or practices.
13. Intellectual property
All content in the Services, including workouts, programs, videos, articles, graphics, logos, the names "The Strong Parent Collective" and "The Parent Program," and the design of the Site, is owned by Tribe Fitness LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
You may use our content for your own personal, non-commercial training. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publicly post or record it, use it to train other people, or use it to build a competing product without our written permission. Sharing a link to a free article is always welcome.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS COMPLETE OR CURRENT.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE RELEASED PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR (B) $100.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a concern, please email us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in [County], Colorado, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be filed within one year after it arose.
17. General terms and changes
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and that part will be enforced to the maximum extent allowed. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to a successor. The health disclaimer, assumption of risk, release, indemnification, intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability and governing law sections survive the end of your use of the Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and we'll email active members about material changes. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept it.
PART 2
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Tribe Fitness LLC, doing business as The Strong Parent Collective, collects, how we use it and the choices you have. In short: we collect what we need to coach you and run the business, and we never sell your information.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name and email when you join the email list, take the free screen or use the Ask Sam form. Your free screen answers, which can include health-related information such as pain, past injuries, pregnancy or postpartum status, activity level, body weight and goals. Questions and messages you send us, and anything you post in the team space.
Information from TrainHeroic. When you join the Program, TrainHeroic collects your account, billing and training data under its own privacy policy. We can see your name, email and the training data you log in the team, like completed workouts and notes. We don't receive your full payment card details.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and our tools collect device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring site and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies. Our email provider may record whether you open our emails or click their links.
2. How we use it
to provide the coaching content, screen results and Program you asked for;
to answer your questions and, with identifying details removed, turn common questions into educational content;
to send the emails you signed up for (you can unsubscribe anytime);
to run memberships through TrainHeroic;
to understand how the Site is used and make it better; and
to protect the Services, enforce our Terms and comply with the law.
3. Your health information
Your screen answers and anything you share about your health are sensitive, and we treat them that way. We collect them only with your consent, use them only to give you the coaching and recommendations you asked for, never use them for advertising and never sell them. We aren't a healthcare provider, so HIPAA doesn't apply to us, but we hold ourselves to a high standard anyway. You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your health information at any time, and if you live in a state with a consumer health data law (such as Washington or Nevada), you have the rights described in Section 7.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for essential site functions and for analytics through Squarespace Analytics [and Google Analytics, if used]. [If used: We use advertising pixels, such as the Meta Pixel, to measure our ads.] Affiliate partners like Amazon use cookies to track purchases made through our links. You can control cookies through your browser settings and our cookie banner. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale of your information or sharing for targeted advertising.
5. How we share it
We never sell your personal information. We share it only:
with service providers that help run the business (Squarespace, TrainHeroic, Tally, [email provider], payment processors and analytics tools), who may use it only to provide their services;
with other members, limited to what you choose to post in the team space;
with professional advisors, like lawyers and accountants, when needed;
with authorities, if required by law or to protect someone's safety; and
with a successor if the business is sold or merged, who must honor this policy.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it: email subscriptions until you unsubscribe; free screen answers for up to [24 months] after your last activity, unless you ask us to delete them sooner; and membership records while you're a member and as long as needed for tax and accounting. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can:
unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any email;
ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
ask us to correct or delete it; and
withdraw your consent to our use of your health information.
Email [sam@strongparentcollective.com] with your request. We'll verify your identity and respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to appeal our decision by replying to our response. We will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.
8. Children's privacy
The Services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and you must be 18 or older to join the Program. Please don't share information about your kids beyond what's helpful for context. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Security and where data is stored
We use reasonable safeguards and reputable providers to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as required by law. We're based in the United States and our providers store data in the U.S. If you use the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We'll post changes here with a new "Last updated" date and email active members about material changes.
